Do I need an appointment to drop off?

Yes, an appointment is needed for all auto glass services. Please fill our the form above or call us at (651) 328-6830 for a quote and a timely appointment at the drop off location closest to you. We can even come to your home or business, weather permitting.

Can you come to my home or business?

Our skilled local technicians are mobile and can complete your repairs almost anywhere weather permitting. For winter scheduling, we do need a heated garage/facility to complete the job in.

How long does it take to replace a damaged windshield?

We request that you allow 2 hours to complete the windshield installation process. It takes roughly an hour for the technician to complete the installation and recalibration (if needed). Then the vehicle must sit for 1 hr for the urethane to have enough cure-time before its safe to drive.

How long does it take to repair a rock chip?

We estimate about 30 minutes. We have a specific Rock-Chip Technician who focuses on Rock-Chip Repairs everyday within the Twin Cities metro area.

Do I need to contact my insurance company first?

No, we are able to work with your insurance company to make it even easier and quicker for you. Some of the information we ask you to provide is the year, make and model of your vehicle and your insurance policy #. This information will allow us to file and bill your insurance claim.

What if I don’t have auto insurance?

For our non-insured customers, having a locally owned business allows us to price our glass competitively so you still get a great deal.

Windshield Repairs
All windshield repairs performed by Twin Cities Auto Glass come with a lifetime warranty and a 100% satisfaction guarantee. In the event that your rock chip cracks out, during or after the repair, or if you are not completely satisfied with the repair. We will apply the cost of the repair towards the cost of a new windshield installed by Twin Cities Auto Glass.

Windshield and Auto Glass Replacement
Twin Cities Auto Glass has a lifetime warranty on all of the workmanship we provide.
All windshield installments come with our guarantee to be free of wind or water leaks. Installed moving parts are guaranteed to work properly and smoothly.
Auto glass that is installed by Twin Cities Auto Glass is guaranteed to be free of any manufacture defects, stress cracks, distortion, or any flaws in the glass.

Limitations of warranty
During any windshield or back glass installation, if there is any rust present on the pinch welds(etc), we cannot 100% warranty the install. Rust will compromise the bond of the glass to the body of your vehicle. This may lead to the cause of wind and/or water leaks. In addition, it is also a safety issue. However, we will come out and do 1 complimentary reseal to fix the issue.

Each Dealer-supplied part comes with a glass warranty from the Automobile dealership. Twin Cities Auto Glass will provide you with a lifetime warranty on our workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle.

I recently had my windshield replaced by Twin Cities Auto Glass, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! Holden did an outstanding job from start to finish. He came out to my job, which was super convenient for me, and replaced my windshield right in the parking lot. When I got off work, I had a brand-new windshield waiting for me, it was such a great feeling and honestly made my whole day!

Holden even took the time to carefully remove my parking permit sticker from the old windshield and apply it to the new one perfectly. It looked like it had never even been moved! That extra attention to detail really stood out to me.

They were GREAT! They sent me a reminder text the day before and gave me the address again along with a description of where they were. Holden got my windshield done in 1.5 hours (they had to calbrate the cameras in my car too). He explained everything and showed me codes my car had, that had popped up on his scanner.

The service was really quick as far as pricing, very good to others I shopped around. They put my dash cam back and even did what I didn’t do, properly tuck the wiring to the cam out of sight. First off, what safelite offers in pictures with the before and after of chipped windows is not even close what I received. I still have small cracks not filled and the chip they filled now looks like a bug splatted on my windshield. When I called customer service they told me it’s cosmetic and I need to pay for a whole new windshield… next the mobile drive came out went to the wrong address and almost didn’t come and the driver was not the guy in the text. Overall not a good experience…

I had a great experience here. They were very prompt in replying to my online inquiry and the rate of $75 to fix a rock chip was fair. The process took less than an hour, and Holden was really great at explaining the repair to me. I really appreciated him taking the time to share what he did and how the repair would look. It was also a nice bonus that he vacuumed out my driver's side! Overall a great experience and while I hope I don't have to return with another chip, I definitely would come back here if I did!

I was very pleased with the service here to have my car windshield replaced. I went through my insurance. When I booked my appointment, Cathy was very helpful. I got in quickly for an appointment and she sent a photo of the location so it was easier to find. I was greeted with a smile and handshake from my glass installer, Carl, when I arrived as well as when I left. I think this is very unusual these days. I was quoted 2-4 hours and the job was done in about 2 hours. Everyone was very nice on site, and even while I waited to meet with the glass installer, people checked in with me to see if I had been helped. Carl, the glass installer, was great. He texted me when the job was done. When I picked up my vehicle, he gave me strict instructions: no car washes for 2 full days. This is good information so as not to cause any issues with the installation. All around this was a great experience and a job well done.

They had me in and out very quickly for my auto glass replacement, considering my car requires all sorts of recalibration of the Audi Sensors and cameras (ADAS). Initially I was worried that this had to be done at the dealer, but they have all of the tools necessary to do it right on site. The waiting room was very clean, with good wifi, so I was able to get some work done while I waited for my car. Great staff, who are super knowledgable.

The customer service was exceptional. My back window got hit by a bouncing golf ball from a tee box and shattered my back window. I was contacted by Holden at Twin Cities Auto Glass regarding an estimate of damage, process for the insurance claim and time to repair. It was seamless in working with them. I opted for mobile windshield replacement with TC's local installer, Holden. It was a great experience. Holden was punctual and speedy. And his customer service and friendliness were much appreciated. The whole process maybe took an hour and a half including Holden's test drive to recalibrate the lane departure camera. I solicited the job with some other outfits (this was an insurance deal and it was going to cost me my full deductible regardless) but they didn't stand up to the confidence and positivity TC exhibited. I recommend TC Auto Glass for your automotive glass needs, and if you're able, ask them to send Holden. Kudos!

I had my windshield replaced by John at the Lupient GMC location on 394 and Louisiana. I dropped it off and John called me when it was done. I scheduled the times for pickup and dropoff and it was ready earlier than I requested. They were able to replace my windshield with OEM glass! They also re-calibrated my safety features. I used Safelite for my last window replacement and I thought they were ok, but TCAG was better and I will use them from now on (Safelite did not replace my windshield with OEM glass when I used them previously).

John was great. He gave me his cell phone number and said to call him anytime. Also, the scheduling people were both really friendly and picked up right away when I called both times.

- Longer service window than was told.
- Poor communication as I had to call them to check up on scheduled service date. They made no attempt to confirm anything until the day before service which was already two weeks late.
- I have full glass insurance and was told I would not be paying out of pocket which I ended up doing.

Had I been told the truth about using this company and all of the above from the person who I spoke with I would have gone somewhere else and not been furious about their misleading and very poor service.

Well, the White Bear TCAG site is very definitely a First Class operation. Nothing is "coach class". Please. Spacious waiting lounge, bathroom clean as a whistle, their air conditioning system REALLY works well (wear a sweater). My busted windshield replaced yesterday -- front office personnel were charming, friendly, and efficient; no bureaucratic BS or rigmarole. Simply put vehicle keys on the counter and, soon enough, magic happens. The guy who replaced my windshield was fast, courteous, detail-oriented, and smart as a whip. I will let him take out my gallbladder tomorrow morning at 7:00 if I get to choose the anesthesiologist. Summary: Seriously, don't go anywhere else for glass replacement on your vehicle. Go to TCAG in White Bear Lake. I scored my visit at 14.7 points out of 10 possible. Folks who go anywhere else for vehicle glass work must be crazy.

As I was about to call the company to reschedule the appointment the technician called to say he was 15 min away. I broke the news to him and asked if I should cancel or if he could go to her work. Last minute switches can be some of the hardest things to deal with do to the level of frustration they cause. Huge shoutout to the Twin Cities Auto Glass tech (I've forgotten his name) who found and fixed the problem I had with noise coming from the windshield. He was able to find the source of the problem was the loose clips that hold the plastic cowl in place around the windshield and added tape to keep the from rattling. He was generous with his time and expertise and I am so happy with the results!!

A week ago, a small rock hit my windshield. I started looking for repair shops in Hudson. After getting a few quotes, I found a place that fit my schedule—Twin Cities Auto Glass—and I’m so glad I chose them.

They were incredibly professional, efficient, and went above and beyond to make the whole process smooth. Holden, in particular, did a fantastic job. I highly recommend him for any windshield repair work. Excellent service from start to finish!

I got Holden for my windshield replacement on my expedition and let me tell you, his service is out of this world outstanding. I am definitely returning for all my glass needs. He went the extra mile and answered all my questions, he let me watch and learn about what he was doing. He even showed me previous flaws on my truck I had no idea about and I really appreciate it. Please if you are going to choose a company or have no idea who to go to, pick this one. Its family owned and they really care about who they service. You are NOT just some number and a paycheck. If I could give more stars I would! Fantastic job!

From start to finish these folks deliver! I called around a few places before calling Twin Cities Auto Glass, they were the only shop that asked for the VIN, not year make and model. Holden was exceptional. Good communication, on time and willing to go the extra mile. He installed a windshield in a 35 year old convertible that had lots of pieces that needed to be removed and reinstalled, most of them needed seals or sealer that are no longer available. He carefully removed them so they could be reused and added sealer where they probably should’ve when built. Thanks to everyone who makes this shop work like a Swiss time piece.

I had the greatest experience with my windshield replacement. I received a call about an hour before the appointment letting me know exactly where to go and that I was welcome to arrive early. When I arrived, my technician greeted me in person. I waited just over an hour and when he came in, he had not only replaced my windshield but also used a magic eraser to get a mark off the top of my van where the baseball hit first. I was so appreciative. It was truly the greatest experience. Thank you!!

I had my windshield replaced by a young tech a couple days ago. He called about 10 minutes before arriving within the window of time I was given to say he would be here shortly. The guy was very professional, knowledgeable, soft-spoken, and efficient. He had to calibrate the sensors by taking the truck on the road for a few minutes. When finished, the vehicle was clean inside and the windshield looked perfect. Over all, my experience was top-notch and I will be returning if I need any more windshields replaced. The tech was a perfect representation of the company and I hope he has a long, successful career with TCAG. THANK YOU.

They were able to come out to my home the next morning after a call to fix a broken car window. A technician from a different company had damaged our car trying to repair this window previously and Twin City Auto glass went above and beyond and repaired that damage as well! Great service all around and fairly priced. Thank you!

Tim is great to work with! Would recommend TC Auto Glass to any one as they are my GO-TO for any glass repair/work I need. They always have my glass in stock, are able to schedule me in a timely fashion, and they are super easy to work with and call the insurance company with me on the line to get the claim going. Very thankful to have found such a great company to work with!

Great Service. The Tech even went to the trouble of relocating my Oil Change Reminder, I-Pass, and State Park Sticker to the new windshield. I hope not to need one, but if I do. This is where I am going.

5 stars for excellent customer service , one simple phone call and everything was set up for an appointment. The technician was very informative and professional. I called to get my windshield replaced and talked to Shannon(?) She said they didn't have my windshield in stock and put me on hold to contact the dealership. Didn't get an answer at the time and said my car (2008) was likely too old and may be discontinued. She said she'd have an answer for sure by the next day. Next day comes and I received a voicemail saying that it in fact had been discontinued and suggested to go to a "UPull It" parts place. You kidding me?!? I scheduled with Safelite and am very pleased with their superior customer support and satisfaction! They dealt with the insurance claim and made everything a breeze!

I recently used Twin City auto glass to install a new windshield in my Ford pick up. They showed up when they said they would. Did an excellent job and I’m very pleased with their service.

Prior to calling them. My insurance company had set up an appointment with Safelite. I was scheduled between eight and 12 on another day prior to having Twin City auto glass out to my home. Safelite never showed up nor called. At 4:30 PM when I reached out to them. They told me they had canceled and I would have to reschedule.

I highly recommend using Twin City auto glass. Stay away from safe lite

The technician was right on time and did the work in a timely, professional manner. He even removed my State Park sticker from the old windshield and put it back on the new windshield. It was great service and I’m happy to have a brand new windshield!
